Verla Young

Verla Nell Young, age 75, passed away on July 29, 2019 in Tyler, TX. She was born on January 15, 1944 in Carthage, TX to Jewel Stevenson and Maudie Hooks Stevenson.

Verla is survived by her children, John Young, Mary Reynolds, Sheila Young all of Pittsburg, TX; Lisa Young of Paris, TX; grandchildren, John Diggs, Carl and Michelle Diggs, RJ Diggs, Chris and Ashley Reynolds, Brad Easley and Erica Reynolds; 11 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death parents, J.L. and Maudie May Stevenson; brothers, Robert, Roy, Joseph and Charles; son-in-law, Eric Reynolds; nephew, Wesley Stevenson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Union Hill cemetery at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held the night before at Curry-Welborn funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
