Travis E. Richie age 73, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2022. Travis was born on January 3, 1949 in Monroe, Louisiana to parents Clay and Mary Richie. Travis served in the United States Army and worked for the City of Mt. Pleasant

Travis was survived by his son Travis Richie Jr. and wife Mellissa, son Ronald Richie, brothers Wayne and Milton Richie, grandchildren;, Travis Richie III, Hailey Richie, Colton Richie, Josie Richie, nieces;, Missy Tidwell, Carrie Hampton and Angela Priefert.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings;, Clay, Melvin, Glynn, Cliffton, Helen, Gayle, Margaret, Birdie, Jean and Barbara.

Visitation for Travis will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Curry- Welborn Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at Nevill’s Chapel Cemetery.
