Tommy Hallford

Tommy Hallford, age 69, of Mt. Pleasant TX., passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Talco TX with Bro. Kerry Adamek officiating and Zachary Daniel, William Smith, Edward Smith, Brandan Blunt, Daniel Hanson and Clayton Blunt serving as pallbearers. Family visitation will be held on Wednesday night, August 5, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the Calvary Baptist Church, (this will be a come and go type visitation for friends that chose not to gather in groups)

Tommy was born on September, 28, 1950 in Hobbs New Mexico, to John Edward and Faye (Wall) Hallford, he married Christine Marie Blunt on July 22, 1983 and had retired as the General Manager of Hershel’s Restaurants. Tommy loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and family were his passions.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Hallford, his mother, Faye Hallford, his sons; Jeremy Hallford and wife Mindy, Ricky Grubbs and wife Lindsey, and Cody Cox. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Gillian Hallford, Alison Hallford, Tanner Grubbs, Haidyn Grubbs, and Hannah Grubbs as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Hallford, and two sisters; Linda Hallford Persell, and Teresa Hallford McCully.
