Sherry M. Williams

Sherry M. Williams, age 83, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at her home. 

Sherry was born on April 24, 1941, in Amarillo, Texas to Sherman Best and Ruth (Keith) Hamilton. She married her beloved husband, Christopher Dale Williams on January 16, 1992, in Denton, Texas. Together, they created a beautiful life and celebrated their 33rd anniversary just last month.

Sherry had a passion for life that was evident in her many hobbies. She found joy in the simple pleasures—watching her hummingbirds, nurturing her flowers, and spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. Her kindness shone brightly through her years of volunteering with hospice services and as a Pink Lady at Titus Regional Medical Center, touching the hearts of those she served.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Chris Williams of Mount Pleasant, TX., her son, Bryan Baldwin, and wife, Connie of Mount Pleasant, TX. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, 2 nieces and her cherished pet, Charlie. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman Best and Ruth Best Hamilton, and her daughters; Robin Dennington, Margie Bragg and Amy Lane. 

In honor of Sherry's loving spirit, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the hospice of your choice, allowing her legacy of compassion to live on.
