Samanthia Thompson

Samanthia Ann Thompson, age 69, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on March 30, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nevill’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson was born on July 2, 1948 in Payne Spring TX. To Alonzo and Della Mae Gregory. She married Ben Thompson on April 14, 1967 in Athens TX.

She is survived by her children, two daughters; Mary Brimhall, and Sendy Hudson, two sons; Ben Thompson Jr. and wife Jeton and Alonzo Thompson and wife Rhonda. She is also survived by two brothers, and two sisters and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grand-children along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Thompson, a daughter, Nancy Hicks, and parents; Alonzo and Della Mae Gregory.
