Roger Cleston Hobbs, age 77, of Winnsboro, TX passed away on November 24, 2020 in Tyler, TX. He was born on February 14, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to his parents Odric Hobbs and Gwen Kennedy Hobbs.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. A graveside will follow afterwards beginning at 1:30 PM at Nevill’s Chapel Cemetery.
Roger enjoyed watching The Price is Right as well as playing Bingo, and one of his favorite actors John Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years Donna Hobbs; son, Buddy Hobbs; daughter, Cynthia Jarvis and husband John; grandchildren, Elizabeth Seright and husband Britain, Kristen Linseisen; great grandchildren, Ellis Seright and Sutton Sutherland; siblings, Jimmy Hobbs, Rex Hobbs, Ricky Hobbs, Penny Bradford and Joey Hobbs.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
