Richard Owen

Richard S. Owen, age 53, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Ft. Smith Ark. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the South Jefferson Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Oglesby officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn funeral home.
Richie was born on September 28, 1961 in Ft. Smith Arkansas to Stanley and Peggy Bray Owen. He was a member of the South Jefferson Baptist Church and a Funeral Assistant for the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
He is survived by his children; Kristopher Lance Owen of Mt Pleasant TX, and Lacee Virginia Owen of Paris Ark., his Grandchildren, Karson Lance Owen and Charlee Reese Collier, his brothers, Roger Owen and wife Tammy of Alma Ark., Ronald Owen and wife Christie of Magnolia Ark., his sisters; Robin Fuller and husband Rodney of Waldron Ark., Rhonda Harvey and husband Jon of Ft. Smith Ark., and Risa Oglesby and husband Tommy of Mt. Pleasant TX. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Peggy Owen, and a brother Randall Owen.
