Rae Ann Miller, 96, of Jacksonville, formerly long-time resident of Talco, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2014, while at Twin Oaks Nursing Home. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kerry Adamek officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Mt. Pleasant. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Alex Miller, Chris Miller, Craig Miller, Jarrod Miller, Clinton Gage and Barry Gage.
Mrs. Miller was born October 10, 1917, in Bradley, AR, to Thomas and Ida Mae Williams. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker, mother and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Talco.
Rae Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul A. Miller, Sr. in 2000; granddaughter Sherry Venegas; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her sons Paul A. Miller, Jr. and wife Sue of Talco, Jerry Ray Miller and wife Betty of Jacksonville and Billy Gene Miller of Talco; sister Lillie Mae King of Henderson; brother Gene Williams of Louisiana; grandchildren Gena Gage, Donna Rivera, Paul Miller III, Jarrod Miller, Angela Jackson, Alex Miller, Chris Miller, Craig Miller and Melissa Miller; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Talco, Texas where the Millers were long time members. The family wishes to thank Twin Oaks Nursing Home and Bristol Hospice Pathways for their loving care of Mrs. Miller.
