Perry Ryan

Perry "Shag Nasty" Ryan age 70, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016, in Pittsburg, Texas. Graveside services will be held at Union Hill Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 1:00P.M. with a visitation for family and friends from 10:30A.M. - 12:30P.M. before the service at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Perry was born on September 23, 1946 in Bogota, Texas, to Pershing Ryan and Juanita Cranford. He married his wife Linda Benefield in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, on July 9,1966. Perry worked as a mechanic for the City of Mt. Pleasant for 27 years. He is survived by his wife Linda of Mt. Pleasant, son and daughter n-law Paul Ryan Sr. and Tonya of Mt. Pleasant, son and daughter n-law Glen Ryan and Lisa of Scroggins, son Buddy Ryan of Mt. Pleasant, son Robert Ryan of Mt. Pleasant, and a daughter Christi Ryan of Mt. Pleasant, grandsons; Paul Ryan Jr. and fiancé Jade Jennings, and Daniel Ryan and wife Summer of Daingerfield, brothers Buddy Ryan and James Ryan both of Ft. Worth, Aunt Addie Lockaby and Uncle Hoot Ryan and wife Shirley of Mt. Pleasant, he was preceded in death by his parents Pershing and Juanita Cranford Ryan.
