Nimmie Rawlins

Nimmie Jane (Cash) Rawlins, age 82, of Mt. Vernon passed away on February 22, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home
Mrs. Rawlins was born on April 26, 1932 in Mt. Vernon TX to Nim F. Cash and Belle D. Smith Cash and she married Charles R. Rawlins on December 3, 1981 in Hugo Oklahoma. She was a retired care giver and a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and the VFW ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Middleton and husband Walter of Mt. Pleasant TX, her sons; Michael Karsmizki and Lanie of Los Angeles CA., and Sammy Karsmizki of Blacksburg SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Chris Middleton and wife Kelley of Sulphur Springs TX., Samantha Middleton of Mt. Pleasant TX., Sammy Karsmizki Jr. of Frankston TX., Donnie Karsmizki and wife Misty of Gaffney SC., and Jason Karsmizki and wife Darlene of Gaffney SC. As well as nine Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nim and Belle Smith Cash, her husband, Charles Rawlins, two infant sons; Donald Ray Karsmizki, and Cleve Thomas Broach, her brothers, George Cash, Joe Mitchell, Trannie Cash, Vernie Mitchell, L.J. Mitchell, and Thelma Cash; and her sisters; Billie J. Whittaker, Hazel Sample, Maurine Hopkins, and Lela Ramsey.
