Mildred Johnson

Mildred Inez Harris Holt Johnson of Mount Pleasant, passed away on July 15, 2015 at the age of 104. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Nevill's Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Glen Griffith and Bro. Al Baker officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Pine Crest Cemetery in Atlanta, Texas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Mildred was born in Marietta, Texas on November 2, 1910 to William Ellis and Mae Robinson Harris, she married Clarence M. Holt on August 30, 1941, he preceded her in death on February 14, 1963, and she remarried on June 17, 1972 to Mr. Henry Johnson who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by: her son, Jackie L. Holt and his wife, Lois of Mt. Pleasant, her daughter, Donna G. Holt-Chafin of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Tammy Holt Thomas and Timothy R. Holt; her great-grandchildren, Mikila, Cassidy, and Jake Carr; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Mae Harris, her husbands, Clarence M. Holt, and Henry Johnson, her brothers, Herman, and Billy Harris; and her sisters, Genevieve Stubbs, Evelyn Sarsby, and Reba Foster, and her son in law Donald R. Chafin
