Mary Harris

Mary Pate Harris, age 82, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on July 4, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Phillips-Taylor Cemetery in Cookville. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 prior to the service.
Mary was born on August 23, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant TX. The daughter of Bernice and Maud Moore Pate, she was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sister Patsy Pate Tyer of Cookville TX, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Maud Pate, her husband Clyde Harris, her brother, Sam H. Pate and her sisters; Lois McGee, Jewel Rountree, Barbara Jonas, and Betty Williamson.
