Mark Harris

Mark Harris, age 54, of Mt. Pleasant TX, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant TX.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with Dwayne Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Tranquil Cemetery in Winfield TX with Donnie Phifer, Chad Parish, Nicky Brown, Tony Bynum, Ronnie Presley, and Jimmy Fail serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral home.
Mark was born in Mt. Pleasant on March 24, 1962, to Glen and Yvonne Fail Harris. Mark grew up in Talco and attended school there. He married Darlene Talley on August 9, 1980 in Mt. Pleasant. He worked for the 6-T Ranch and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Harris Parker of Burleson TX., his wife, Darlene Harris of Mt. Pleasant TX., his son Landon Harris of Mt. Pleasant TX., granddaughter, Kentlee Harris of Mt. Pleasant TX., and a sister Ginger Harris Bowyer of Burleson TX., and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Harris and one brother and one sister.
