Marilu Cruz

Marilu De La Cruz, age 65, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on September 26, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 27, 1953 in Coahuila, MX to her parents Manuel and Rebeca Mata.

Visitation will be held at Jerusalem Gates Asambleas de Dios on Thursday, September 26, 2019. A funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 3:00 PM. Interment to follow at Edwards Cemetery.

Marilu was a faithful and longtime member of Jerusalem Gates Asambleas de Dios.

She is survived by her husband Cruz De La Cruz; children, Hector De La Cruz and wife Patricia, Aracely Alviar and husband Louis; grandchildren, Hector De La Cruz Jr. and wife Sonia Rodriguez, Kassandra De La Cruz, Andrew De La Cruz, Bethani Alviar, Anneliese Alviar; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Aileen De La Cruz, Ameera Zalaya De La Cruz, as well as numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sergio Mata.
