Maria Grimaldo

Maria Domitila Grimaldo, age 79, of Mt. pleasant, passed away on January 10, 2020 in Mt. Pleasant TX. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with Noberto Otero officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Maria was born on May 12, 1940 in Oaxaca Mexico, she was a homemaker and and a very giving person who enjoyed cooking for others and sharing everything she had, she was very hospitable and friendly to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Virgilio Grimaldo, her daughters; Lupita Grimaldo and Veronica Cuevas and her sons in laws; Abraham Dantes and Johnny Cuevas as well as her grandchildren; Jose, Sophia, Abraham, and Ferni.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Francisco Lopez and Hermenegilda Perez, and her granddaughter Emma Cuevas.
