Margaret Hughes

Margaret Yvonna Hughes, age 52, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her residence.

Margaret was born on March 2, 1966 in Mt. Pleasant to Carl A. and Pauline Owens Phelps. She served in the Texas National Guard and was employed as a jailor for the Titus County Sheriff’s Office.

She is survived by her sisters; Eudy Thompson of Sugar Hill TX, and Dottie Clark and husband Kevin of Fairdealing MO., and special cousin Billy Smith of Mt. Pleasant TX. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl A. Phelps and Pauline Owens Phelps.

There will be a visitation held held on Friday January 25, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A service will be held on Saturday 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
