Linda Forsythe

Linda Forsythe, 64, of Mt Pleasant, Texas, passed away Sunday March 15, 2020 at Hospice of East Texas.

Curry-Welborn Funeral Home will conduct services 10:00 A.M. Saturday March 21st, 2020. Internment

will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 P.M. Friday March 20 th , 2020 at the funeral home.

Linda was born on June 14 th , 1955 in Lubbock, Texas to John Rainey and Myrtle Morgan. Linda moved to

Mt Pleasant, Texas in the early 80’s where she worked in Administrative and Medical Offices as well as

Non-Profits, and later retail. Linda later married her husband Rodney Forsythe in May of 1989. They

have lived in or around Mt Pleasant for the past 30 years.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Randall Arellano of Mt Pleasant, Texas, Sister Joan Holmes of

Lubbock, Texas, Sister Betty Simmons, and Brother-in-law Tommy Simmons both of Paris, Texas.

She is survived by her husband Rodney Forsythe, son Corey Dodd of Austin, Texas, Brother-in-law Jerry

Holmes of Lubbock, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss her

dearly.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of East Texas for the exceptional care they
