Leonard Rollins

Leonard L. Rollins, Age 88, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on February 14, 2014 in Mt. Pleasant. Graveside services will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Friendship Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with Bro. Glen Connell and Bro. Kerry Ademek Officiating. Family visitation will be Sunday February 16, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Mr. Rollins was born on February 24, 1925 in Mt. Vernon TX to Butler Marcellus and Fannie Samuels Rollins, he married Betty Huddleston on March 7, 1947 and was a retired teacher, coach and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife Betty Rollins of Mt. Pleasant TX, their children; Susan Rollins Duncan and husband Eric of North Richland Hills TX, and Scott Rollins and wife Debra of Wills Point TX. his grandchildren; Deniece Frideley and husband Chad, Amanda Rollins, Zack Rollins and Becca, Cody Davis and Andrea, Ashlie Duncan, and Lindsey Duncan Kordish and Husband Kevin. Great grandchildren; Marissa Reynolds, Zoe Rollins, Hunter Rollins, Logan Frideley, Lila Frideley, Evelyn Kordish, Siena Davis, Carson Davis, Nick Kordish, and Colin Kordish. And a nephew, Mike Rollins and wife Sharon of Henderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morse and Fannie Rollins and two brothers Louie Morse Rollins and Lonnie Rollins, and a sister Lillie Mae Rollins.

Memorials can be made to the Calvary Baptist Church in Talco.
