Laura Dell Giddens Fredrickson

A memorial service for Laura Giddens Fredrickson will be held at Northridge Church of Christ on March 17, 2023, at 2:00pm. A visitation will begin one-hour prior to the service. Bro. Billy Giddens and Bro. Jim Parker will officiate.

Laura Dell Giddens Fredrickson, age 60, passed away on March 2, 2023, at a Portland, Oregon hospital after a long illness.

Laura was born on May 2, 1962, in Monahans, Texas to Sam and Margaret Giddens. She was a member of the Northridge Church of Christ. Laura and her family moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1974 and she graduated high school in 1980. During her high school and college years she raised registered Appaloosa horses and had a love for all animals. After high school she served in the Air Force from 1982-1985. Upon leaving the Air force she became a registered nurse because she loved caring for the sick and the elderly. Laura was an avid reader and she loved to paint, sew, and crochet.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Frederickson; daughters, Samantha Martinelli and Coco Randell; granddaughter, Shelby Martinelli; mother, Margaret Giddens; sister, Leann Jenkins and husband Bradley; brother, Billy Giddens and wife Lisa; and several nieces.

She is preceded in death by her father, Sam Giddens, and her oldest sister, Renee Hall.
