The graveside service for Kimmetha McNutt will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery on June 10, 2023, starting at 11:30 AM.

Kimmetha Carol McNutt, age 66, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her residence in Pittsburg, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Kenneth Claude Huff and Myra Lee Bivins Huff. Kim was well-known for her exceptional sewing skills. She created beautiful items such as quilts, pot holders, face masks, and aprons, among others. Kim was also passionate about crocheting and often made thoughtful gifts for family and friends, displaying her kind and giving nature.

Kim is survived by her son, Robert Hill, and his wife Melissa; step-daughters, Kelly Heide and her husband Wes, and Holly Chapa; brother-in-law, Kenneth McNutt; sisters, Mitze Mitchell and her husband Freddie, Diana Cavanaugh and her husband John, and Kaylene Polanco; grandchildren, Tabitha Hill, Fiona Hill, Ella Heide, Anna Heide, Jackson Heide, Carson McNutt, and Ray McNutt; one great-granddaughter, Emmersyn Faye Amburn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Claude Huff and Myra Lee Huff; her husband, Danny Ray McNutt; her brother, Dennis C. Huff; her sister, Nancy McNutt; and her brother-in-law, Joe Polanco.

Cremation services are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
