Kenneth S. Taylor, age 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on June 23, 2019 at Titus Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 4, 1942 in Blackwell, TX to his parents Reynolds Taylor and Pauline Spencer.

There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Gladewater cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Curry-Welborn funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Kenneth worked in the oilfield business for many years, as well as selling produce for over 20 years here in Mount Pleasant. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, and working in his garden. He also enjoyed spending time around his family the most, and many of them would say he never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Taylor; daughters, Carolyn Baumgartner and husband Ricky, Sandra Wright and husband Charles, Paula Kennette and husband Bradley Plattner, Natasha Taylor; grandchildren, Mindy Williams, Ashley Wright, Amber Shelley, Matthew, Nicole Rebecca, Mellisa and Luke Plattner, Lindsey and Josh Baumgartner; brother, Harold Taylor and wife Nancy, Leland Taylor and wife Sue; sister, Betty Lemonds and husband Doyle, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Reynolds Taylor and Pauline Spencer and a brother, Weldon Taylor.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Curry Welborn funeral home
