Ken Clark

Ken "Superman" Clark, age 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 in Longview, Ken was born on January 7, 1942 in Webb City MO., to Burton and Doris Clark, he married Florence Anderson in 1968. Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea, a volunteer fireman for the Lone Star VFD, EMT paramedic for the Lone Star-Jenkins area, Scoutmaster and he retired from Lone Star Steel. Ken is survived by his loving wife Florence Anderson Clark of Mt. Pleasant TX, his daughter Aura Olds and Mike Martin, and his son, Kenneth Clark II and wife Mandy, grandchildren; Ashley and Daniel Gonzalez, Devon Blackburn and Rosy Garcia, Savannah Olds and Justin Tomlin, Christopher Olds, Nathan Ball, Sara Underwood, and Kenneth Clark III, great-grandchildren Allison Blackburn, and Landon Garcia. He is also survived by his brother, Swede Clark and wife Carol, and a sister in-law Mary Clark and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Doris Clark and two brothers and one sister.
A Memorial service will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home on Saturday January 14, 2017 from 4:00P.M. - 6:00P.M.. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
