Kathryne Evers

Maggie Kathryne Edwards Evers, age 90, of Omaha TX., passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at the Omaha Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. with Bro Nolan Richey officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 10:00-12:00 A.M at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home Prior to the service.
Kathryne was born on July 26, 1927 in Omaha TX., she graduated from the Omaha High School in 1945 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Omaha TX. She is survived by her son Michael Palmer and wife Pam of Wimberly TX. Brother in-law John Evers of Pensacola FL., Sister In-law Lorene Apel of Cullman AL., and life time friends and care givers Maudine and Arnold Ellington as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews and class mates from all over East Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alex Evers, and two brothers Horace and Jr. Edwards.

The Family would like to thank the TRMC Emergency room and ICU staff for their wonderful care in her last days.
