James Lee

Edwin "Ed" Lee, age 72, of Mount Pleasant passed away on Tuesday, January 06, 2015 in Tyler, TX. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Circle C Cowboy Church in Mount Pleasant with Bro. Charles Newman officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Ed was born on November 28, 1942 to Dean Dewitt Lee and Ora Mae Purkey Lee. He married Rita Faye Davis on May 23, 1970 in Mount Pleasant. He retired from Grocery and Produce Sales, and he was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Lee of Mount Pleasant; daughter and son-in-law, Bry and James Baker Jr. of Mount Pleasant; grandson, Jacob Baker of Mount Pleasant; granddaughter, Jilliann Baker of Mount Pleasant; sister, Eloise Foltes of Fort Worth; various nieces and nephews and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Ora Mae Lee; brother, Ronald Lee of Burleson; and a sister, Glenys Johnson of Fort Worth.
