James Hutchings

James "Lewis" Hutchings age 82, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the East Texas Medical Center of Pittsburg. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Allen and Bro. Lloyd Bedsworth officiating. Interment will follow at the Nevill's Chapel Cemetery with Jared Chapman, Clint Walker, Josh Hitt, Jason Bradley, Kelly Hutchings, Brandon Folsom, and Victor Olvera serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Henry Hammonds, Gary Pilgrim, C.J. Cramer, and Jeremy Folsom. Family visitation will be Monday April 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.
Mr. Hutchings was born on February 24, 1931 in Beardstown TX, the son of Mr. Norman and Cora Lee Senter Hutchings. He married Jimmie Mae Holland on October 14, 1950 in Texarkana TX.
Mr. Hutchings is survived by his children, Doug Hutchings and his wife Chris of Mt. Pleasant TX., Neal Hutchings and wife Kristi of Pittsburg TX., Nancy Folsom and husband Junior of Mt. Pleasant TX., Donna Capps and husband Gary of Athens TX., and 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brothers, McArther Hutchings of Paris TX, and Palmer Hutchings and his wife Laura of Crosbytown TX., and two sisters, Lavern Proffett of Paris TX., and Alta Davidson and husband Charles of Paris TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Cora Hutchings, his wife, Jimmie Mae Hutchings, two brothers, Archie Hutchings, and Enloe Hutchings, and a sister, Lorene Satcher all of Paris TX.
