Israel Hernandez

Israel Hernandez age 17, of Mt. Pleasant, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was born on August 22, 2002 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to Arturo and Guadalupe Hernandez. He was an amazing cheerful, outgoing young boy with the potential to lighting your day up.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 12:00 PM at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Edwards cemetery afterwards. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 12:00 PM through out the whole night at the church.

Israel loved playing tricks with his family, friends, nurses and doctors. He enjoyed playing video games with his family, especially anything to do with Mario. He performed with the Mount Pleasant High School band, as well as practicing playing the trumpet at home. He loved making crazy, amazing and hilarious videos at school and creating amazing graphic designs as well. While at home, he enjoyed playing sports with his brothers and friends, and exercising everyday with his therapist and mother. Israel loved doing many things with his family, such as watching Novelas with his mother, playing cards, beating his siblings at Apple games, sending snaps to everyone, and catching Pokémon everyday and sharing them with his siblings. He always wanted chicken from Popeyes with a sweet tea, as well eating Takis, even if he had argue with his mom to get more each time.

He is loved by his mother and father, Arturo Hernandez and Guadalupe Ramirez; siblings, Amalia Padilla, Jesica Padilla, Brenda Ramirez, Inacio Hernandez, Ascencion Hernandez; his loved nieces and nephews, Lendsey Castor, Arlet Castor and baby Juan Castor or how he named him "baby Simon"; and his beloved brother-in-laws, Luis Ramirez and Enrique Castor.
