An angel came to take Harry James Kimball, 70 of Cortland, New York, home on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
He married the love of his life Vesita (Vicky) Kimball in 1981, and they lived here in Mount Pleasant.
Harry was a loving husband, dad, friend, co-worker and poppa. In return loved and cared for by many.
He worked for Pilgrim's Pride Corporation for 16 years and retired in 2008.
His favorite pride and joy was spending time with his grandchildren. His passion was his wife of 35 years, 20 of those years spent here in Texas. He enjoyed Harley Davidsons and the 49ers.
Harry is survived by his wife Vesita (Vicky) Kimball: two daughters, Anissa Townsend of Anchorage, Alaska and Charlotte Campbell of Mount Pleasant: six grandchildren, Canyon and Castle Campbell of Mount Pleasant, Jared, Katelynn, and Anthony Ford and Nico Leonti of Anchorage, Alaska: one sister-in-law and a brother-in-law Sharon and Lou Fiacco of Endicott, New York: and a host of nieces and nephews of New York: plus extended family members, Isaac, Toby and Danyale Thompson, Dan Ford (Anchorage, Alaska), Randy Campbell, Jennifer and Cameron Honeycutt, Corey and Linwood and many friends and co-workers of Mount Pleasant and Ohio.
He is preceded by his son-in-law Larry Campbell and his dad and mom, Walter and Helen Kimball.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the benefit fund at Guaranty Bond Bank.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Greenhill United Methodist Church 2485 FM 2152 (Greenhill Rd.) Mount Pleasant, Texas.
