Gidget Pettey

Gidget Pettey, age 41 of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her parent's home in Mount Pleasant. Memorial service will be Saturday April 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Mount Pleasant Family Worship Center located at 121 White St. in Mount Pleasant Texas with Bro. Sam Bristow officiating. Following the service there will be a pot luck lunch at the church and everyone is invited to stay and be a part.

Gidget was born in Mount Pleasant on December 24, 1974 to Tim and Lori Kelley and married Wendon Pettey in Mount Pleasant on May 21, 1995. She earned a Bachelor's Degree of General Studies from Texas A&M Texarkana. She was a homemaker, teacher, and attended Mount Pleasant Family Worship Center.

She is survived by her husband Wendon Pettey; sons James Oliver Edward Pettey and Noah Timothy Joel Pettey; parents Tim and Lori Kelley; sister Autumn Skye Kelley; father and mother-in-law Don and Wenona Pettey; brother-in-law Doug Pettey; and sister-in-law Raylene Cochrane.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers James E. Holcomb and Albert E. Kittle and her nanny Estell Holcomb.
