George English

George W. English, age 73, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. He was born on June 2, 1945 to William and Maggie (Osmon) English in Red River County.

He is survived by his sons Geoffrey English of Cookville, Gerard English and wife Shanda of Hughes Springs, TX, grandchildren Kody of Winnsboro, Gracesyn, Gus, Gosiephine English of Hughes Springs, TX, Trinity Plunkett of Union Grove, brother Jimmy English, as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews and niece and caregiver Regina English Smith of Mount Pleasant, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Maggie English, brother Jack English, numerous brothers and sisters.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Roger and Lynn Smith, Kerin Vinson, Leana Titsworth, Chambers Hospice Care and Pleasant Springs Nursing Home Staff.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Curry Welborn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
