Gary Whitaker Sr.

Gary Wayne Whitaker Sr., age 60, of Mt. Pleasant TX, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant TX. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mt. Pleasant with visitation on Sunday November 26, 2017 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home from 6pm to 8pm.

Gary was born at the Dreux AFB in France on January 19, 1957 to Joseph and Mildred Geddings Whitaker. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Underwood Whitaker, daughter Tiffany Stovall and husband Steven of Hallsville, son Gary Whitaker Jr. of Provo UT, daughter Krystal Metcalf and husband Jimmy of Whitehouse, grandchildren; Cody Stovall, Garrett Stovall, Krislynn Stovall all of Hallsville and Jaycee Metcalf of Whitehouse, one sister, three brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
