Frances King

Frances Dee King, age 96, of Dallas TX, formally of Mt. Pleasant TX, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Dallas TX., Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 3:30 P.M. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Mt. Pleasant TX., under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Frances was born on April 25, 1924 in Delta  County Colorado to Nick and Frieda Vercell. She served in the U.S. Navy in the nursing corps during WWII and retired after 35 years from the Red River Army Depot. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, and enjoyed going back to Colorado on family fishing trips.

Frances is survived by her loving daughter,
Denise King of Dallas TX., and her grandson, Taylor King of Dallas TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Frieda Vercell, her husband, Bruce King, and her brother, Vincent Vercell.
