Evelyn Sharp-Riley

Evelyn Francille Sharp-Riley, age 85, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 25, 2013 at North Ridge Church of Christ with Jim Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Nevill's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 P.M., Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sharp-Riley was born on January 14, 1928 in Horatio, AR, the daughter of Willie Morris Sharp and Grace Vess. She married Walter A. Riley on July 3, 1946 in Horatio, AR. She was a member of North Ridge Church of Christ, very active with the ladies bible class and was a Sunday School Teacher.
She is survived by two sons, Calvin Riley and Clitis Riley and wife Teresa, all of Mount Pleasant; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Riley of Mount Pleasant; five granddaughters, Tonya Mullins and husband Aaron, Sonja Islam, Deann Gardner and husband Josey, Francille Riley, all of Mount Pleasant and Christine McDaniel and husband Joe of Farmington, AR; a grandson, Charles Riley of Omaha; an adopted son, Richard Pilon and wife Dee Ann; two adopted grandchildren, Elizabeth Anna Pilon and Richard Pilon Jr.; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Wayne Sharp of McKinney and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Riley; a son, Windell Riley; a great-grandson, Isaac W. Mullins; three brothers and one sister.
