Esther Tillman

Esther Mae Tillman, 92 of Mt Pleasant, Texas formerly of Bogata,Texas passed away on July 4, 2014 in Mt Pleasant.
She was born on December 6, 1921 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma to John and Susan Carper. She married Roy E. Tillman on June 30, 1947 in DeQueen, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of First Baptist Church Bogata, Texas.
She is survived by 2 sons and daughters in law, Edward and Evelyn Tillman of Beckville, Texas and Roy and Mary Tillman of Mt Pleasant, Texas.
She has 5 grandchildren, Eddie Tillman and wife Tracy of Beckville, Texas, Andy Tillman of Beckville, Texas. Matthew Tillman, and Daniel Tillman of Beckville, Texas and Cara Tillman of Austin, Texas. She has 4 great grandchildren, Meagen, Brandi, Jason, and Kaitlyn Tillman of Beckville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Tillman on January 25, 1994, as well as 3 brothers, Chris, William, and Warren and 3 sisters, Mary Edna, Ruby, and Eddith.
Funeral services will be Monday July 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Tommy Oglesby of South Jefferson Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Ft Towson, Oklahoma in the Ft Towson cemetery at 4:00 pm. Pall bearers are Eddie Tillman, Andy Tillman, Cara Tillman, Matthew Tillman, Daniel Tillman, and Meagen Tillman.
