Earl Hollingsworth

Earl W. "Buck" Hollingsworth, age 87, of Mount Vernon, TX passed away on January 15, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Temple on Friday January 19, 2018 at 2 PM in Mount Vernon with bro Troy Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Mount Vernon, TX. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at Calvary Baptist Temple. Earl was born in Titus County on January 2, 1931 to Charles M. Hollingsworth and Ida Bernice Blanchett, he was married to his late wife Eveyln Annise Hollingsworth. Earl served in the Marines between 1950 - 1953 and was also a part of the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Cypress Springs Lodge, and a retired Safety and Transportation Director for Southern Foods. He is survived by his 3 children Debra Hollingsworth, Karen Womble and her spouse David Womble, and Terri Brim, Grandchildren: Gabriel Lewis, Jared Foust, Chance Campbell and his spouse Faviola Campbell, and Taylor Young. Great grandchildren Mattox Campbell and Audrey Foust. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles M. Hollingsworth and Ida Bernice Blanchett and his brother C.H. "Pete" Hollingsworth.
