Doris Goins

Doris Goins of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the age of 80. Mrs. Goins was born on December 24, 1941 to LaRance and Fannie Swearengin in McAllister, Oklahoma. Service will held at the Church of God of Prophecy in Cookville, Texas on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 1:00pm. Bro. Joe Cameron will officiate.

Doris is survived by her children Roy A. Goins and his wife Kimberly Goins, Robert A Goins and his wife Betty Goins, Russell D. Goins, Rebecca J. Norris, and Rose A Engel and her husband William L Engel. She is also survived by her brothers Delbert and Curtis Swearengin, twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents LaRance and Fanny Swearengin, husband William D. Goins, son Rance W. Goins, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The cremation arrangement is under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
