Donald Henderson, Sr

Donald Ray Henderson, Sr, 62, of Cookville passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at his residence. Graveside funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Coopers Chapel Cemetery with officiating under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Family visitation will be 7:00pm until 9:00pm Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Donald was born October 21, 1951 in Morenci, Arizona to Dalton Henderson and Jo Cochran Henderson. Donald married Geneva Nell Taylor on April 16, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was a bending machine operator in the pipeline industry for US Pipeline and other companies.

Surviving Donald is his mother Jo Henderson of Mt. Pleasant; his loving wife of 38 years Geneva Henderson of the home; son Donnie Henderson Jr. of Greeley, CO; daughters Brandy Applegate of Cookville, Karrie McGee of Omaha, DeeDee Coulter and husband Joseph of Mt.Pleasant and Joely Henderson of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Kayla, Applegate, Jordan Henderson, Hunter McGee, Wesley Matthews, Joseph Coulter, Deven Coulter, Olivia Worthey, Lauren Worthy and Tatum Scott. He was preceded in death by his father Dalton Henderson; son Chris Henderson and grandson Aaron Carr.
