Curtis Durham

Curtis “Pat” Durham, age 83, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 20, 1935 in Bradley, Arkansas to Linden and Virginia (Gore) Durham.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Durham; daughter & son-in-law, Melanie & Mike Clifton; daughter & son-in-law, Laura “Beth” & Orell Ausbrooks; daughter, Sarah Durham & Lee McDowell; brother & sister-in-law, Bob & Loreta Durham; brother & sister-in-law, Joe & Renea Durham; grandchildren, Brett Clifton, Holly Crisp & husband A.J., Megan Burns & husband Jamaine, Nathan Johnson, Corey Houston & wife Nikki, Colby Houston, Curtis Brock Houston; close family friend, Joy Baker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virginia (Gore) & Linden Durham.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at East New Hope Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Curry Welborn Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Interment to follow at New Colony Cemetery in Linden, TX.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or East New Hope Baptist Church.
