A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 3:00 P.M at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mount. Pleasant, TX. He will be laid to rest in Many, LA at a later date.
Charles “Charlie” Randall Rose, 75, of Mount Pleasant, TX, went to his heavenly home on January 2, 2024, at Christus Saint Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, TX. Charlie was born on February 2, 1948, in Frisco, TX, to John and Kathleen Rose. After graduating Irving High School, he enlisted in the Navy Reserve where he was an Aviation Electronic Technician until 1970. He was the owner and master plumber of Rose Plumbing Company since 1980. Charlie was a lover of the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He loved the holidays and any occasion where he could spend time with family and especially enjoyed playing games while visiting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Charles Rose and Luella Kathleen Norsworthy Rose of Lindale, TX, wife, Nancy Helen Campbell Rose of Mount Pleasant, TX, son, Johnny Wayne Rose of Shreveport, LA, and brother, Freddie Joe Rose of Monroe, LA.
He is survived by his son Shane Rose of Pickton, TX, daughter, Chelsie Rose of Mount Pleasant, TX, stepson, Steven Forgy of Mount Pleasant, TX, stepdaughter, Stacy Horn and husband John Horn of Mount Pleasant, TX; grandson, Brent Forgy and wife Chelsey Forgy of Naples, Texas, granddaughter Brittany Forgy and fiancé Jake Barr of Cookville, TX, grandson, Blake Forgy of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and great-granchildren, Asher Coloeman and Lydia Barr of Cookville, TX, along with numerous other family members and friends.
