Bobby Taylor

Bobby Joe Taylor, age 87, of Mt. Pleasant TX, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the North Ridge Church of Christ with cremation to follow.

Bobby was born on November 27, 1934 in Simms TX to Basel and Sally (Barrons) Taylor. He married Mary Christian on March 17, 1974 in Winnsboro TX. He worked hard his whole live for many companies including the Railroad, Longview Bridge, Brown and Root and Pilgrim’s Pride.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Taylor of Mt. pleasant TX., his children, Chris Taylor and Kacrisha Eute of Mt. Pleasant TX., and Bo Taylor of Cookville TX., his grandchildren; Olivia Reese Taylor, Natalie Taylor, Emmelyn Taylor, and Cameron Joe Taylor all of Mt. Pleasant TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Basel and Sally Taylor, six brothers; Buddy Taylor, Riley Taylor, J.L. Taylor, J.D. Taylor, Frankie Taylor, Johnny Taylor, and four sisters; Ossie Capps, Dorothy Bell Carter, and Lucille Carter and his twin sister Billie Gean Crabtree.
