Bobby Herrin

Bobby Ross Herrin, age 84, of Mt. Pleasant went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 5, 1934 in Dallas, TX to Ed and Myrtle Hargrove Herrin. He was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow at Bridges Chapel cemetery with Bobby Clay, Bobby E. Herrin, Michael Smith, Billy Pruitt, Alex Clay, Bradley English, Dillion Maker, Leo Maker, and Caden Clay serving as pallbearers. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joy Herrin, his son, Bobby E. Herrin and wife Terese, his daughter, Phyllis Baldwin and husband JR, daughter, Pamela Massie and husband Brian, brother, Lecil Herrin and wife Clara, and 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends and a whole flock of Herrins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Myrtle Herrin, daughter, Darlene Herrin, granddaughters; Margie Bragg and Robin Dennington, great grandson, Riley Porter, brothers Olen Herrin, Odis Herrin, Louie Herrin and Kenneth Herrin.
