Billy Stacks

Billy Dale Stacks, 62 of Tyler TX., formerly of Mt. Pleasant, TX., passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Local memorial services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday February 4, 2017 at Nevill's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant TX with Bro. Tommy Milam and Bro. Bill Bivens officiating. A second memorial will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M., at the Conoco Station located at 3319 N. Northeast Loop 323 in Tyler TX.

Billy worked as a clerk at the Kidd Jones and Conoco Stations in Tyler, and worked for Perry Brother's in Mt. Pleasant and Tyler for 20 years and loved The Dallas Cowboy's. He married the love of his life Cheryl Lynn Moon on October 2, 1976 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. He is survived by his wife Cheryl and son Dakota Stacks of Tyler TX, mother Louise Stacks of Mt. Pleasant TX, sisters; Dottie Garretson of Mt. Vernon TX, and Ann and husband John Hulse of Frisco TX, brothers; Gary Stacks of Mt. Pleasant TX, and Bob Stacks of Dallas TX, he is also survived by brother in law's; Steve and wife Sharon Moon of Balch Springs TX, Ricky Moon and Misty of Cookville Tx, and Dwayne and wife Jan Jones of Texarkana TX and sister in law Virginia Jones of Texarkana TX, a special friend Ed, special co-workers, bosses, friends and customers at both stations.

He is preceded in death by his father Billy Stacks, brothers; Rodney Stacks and Ricky Stacks and a sister Betty Rutledge.
