Billy Wayne Rountree

Internment for Billy Wayne Rountree, age 63, of Cookville, Texas will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Argo, Texas. There will be no formal visitation or service. Mr. Rountree passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his residence. 

Billy Wayne Rountree was born on October 21, 1961, in Titus County to Wesley Leon Rountree and Linda Takeshima. Billy loved to be on the family land, hunting with his family and most of all, his dad. He loved his dog, Scrappy, and his neighbor, Joann. 

Billy is survived by his mother, Linda Takeshima of the Hawaiian Islands, father, Wesley Leon Rountree of Mesquite, Texas, daughters; Ashley Lynn Trester of Springtown, Texas, Anna Marie Rountree of Weatherford, Texas, grandsons; Jagger Cole Wilson, and Maddox Ray Wilson of Springtown, Texas. 

The Rountree/Trester family would like to thank the Collier family for always looking after him and loving him. We are forever grateful.
