Betty Whitney

Betty Lee Whitney, age 71, of Campbell TX, formally of Talco TX, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Campbell TX. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant TX. Interment will follow at the Talco Cemetery. Family visitation will be Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Betty was born on September 14, 1947 in Deport TX., to Milton and Mable Davis Whitney and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville TX. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Jimmie Milner and wife Kim of Greenville TX, and Scotty Sugg of Greenville TX., her six granddaughters and their spouses; Nora (Milner) and Jason Rozell of Sulphur Springs TX, Amy (Milner) and Mel Foster of Commerce TX, Amber Humphries of Greenville TX, Crystal (Milner) and Royce McClendon of Willis TX., Elaina R. Sugg and Juliana C. Sugg of Baton Rouge LA., and her eleven great grandchildren, her brother, Eddie Whitney of Bonham TX., and a nephew, Woody Whitney of Avenger TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Mable Whitney, her brother Charles Whitney and her nephew Shane Whitney.
