Barbara Murphy

Barbara Murphy, age 79, of Deport, Texas, passed away on July 10, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Barbara was born in Reading, Massachusetts, on June 23, 1943, to Sidney and Francis DeFratus.

Barbara is survived by her daughter;, Michelle Ford and husband Ray, grandchildren;, Clint Ford, Anna Ford, Matthew Ford;, great-grandchildren Aiden Ford, Kiley Ford, Kaelyn Ford, Briella Ford, and Brinley Ford;, brother, Sidney DeFratus Jr and wife Elaine;, sister, Glenda Mahoney and husband Kelly;, sister-in-law Murriell DeFratus, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Francis DeFratus, brother, Billy DeFratus, sisters, Linda Reeves and Donna Bennett.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Barbara on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 11:00 A.M, at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
