Antonio Flores

Antonio Flores, age 67, passed away on July 6, 2020 in Tyler, TX. He was born on May 19, 1953 in Zacatecas, MX to Jose Flores and Francisca Castor.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at St. Michaels Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Edwards Cemetery.

Antonio was an amazing human being who touched so many lives in so many different ways. He was well known for his faith in God, love for his family and the community. He loved to help anyone in need whether it was by lending a helping hand physically, financially or spiritually. He was genuinely caring, loving, and encouraging to others regardless of the situation. Antonio believed in a strong work ethic and was very dedicated to his obligations. During his free time he enjoyed composing songs and playing pool. He was a humble and honorable man and that is how he should always be remembered.

He is survived by his companion, Marisela Salcedo; son, Martin Flores; daughter, Raquel Flores; son, Sergio Avalos; daughter, Dolores Avalos; son, Tony Flores Jr.; son, Jesse Flores; daughter, Lupe Flores; daughter, Elizabeth Flores; son, Esteban Castaneda; daughter, Jessica Castaneda; daughter, Dulce Castaneda; daughter, Karina Castaneda, as well as 33 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents, son, Miguel Flores and brother Jose Flores Jr.
