Andrew Simmons

Andrew Simmons age 73, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on May 26, 2017, in Mt. Pleasant. Andrew was born on July 5, 1943 to Gilbert Simmons and Dora Ditto Simmons, in Wichita Falls, TX.

Andrew is survived by his daughter Gina Dunning of Mt. Pleasant, son Tony Simmons and wife Kimberly of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren; Krystle Scroggins and husband Jeremy of Sulphur Springs, Alex Copeland of New Braunsfel, Joshua Simmons of Mt. Pleasant and Shayna Simmons of Mt. Pleasant, great-grandchildren Micah Copeland of New Braunsfel, Collin McKee of Sulphur Springs, Greyson Scroggins of Sulphur Springs and Karlee Kay Simmons of Cookville, brothers; Widner Simmons, Tom Simmons, Steve Simmons, Orville Simmons, and sister Lisa Cates.

He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Simmons, parents Gilbert and Dora Ditto Simmons, sister Martina Simmons, and brothers; Robert Simmons and Brian Simmons.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
