Alissa Werthen

Alissa Werthen, age 36, of Copperas Cove, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in Lampasas, TX. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday March 16, 2013 at Damascus Cemetery with Rev. BJ Teer officiating. Visitation will be from 3-5 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2013 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Werthen was born in Tupelo, MS on January 25, 1977, the daughter of Bobby and Kay Casteel.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Werthen of Copperas Cove; a daughter, Britney Werthern and a son Eric Werthen and wife Amelia, both of Copperas Cove; a brother, Wesley Casteel and two sisters, Victoria and Alice Casteel, all of Boonville, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Katie.
