Addine Blalock

Addine Blalock, age 81, of MT. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, October 25,
2017 in Dallas, after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held on Sunday,
October 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with interment to
follow at the Old Liberty Cemetery in Cass County. Visitation will be Saturday,
October 28, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Addine was born August 31, 1936 to George Landrum Avery and Lydia Ann Bell
Avery in Smyrna, TX. She was known to everyone as "Maw Maw" or Deanie. She
loved Vince Gill music, working in her flower beds, cooking, and taking care of
others. She is survived by her son Jimmie Keith Blalock and wife Pam of Mt.
Vernon, daughter Lydia Going and husband Anthony of Pittsburg, grandchildren;
Nicole Weakley and husband Jason of Mt. Pleasant, Lacy Hunter of Plano, and
Jacki Blalock of Mt. Vernon, great-grandsons; Joey Hunter and Jamie Hunter of
Naples, Destin Weakley of Mt. Pleasant, Coulter Weakley of Mt. Pleasant, and
Great-grandaughter Jaedyn Blalock of Mt. Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Blalock, parents George
Landrum and Lydia Ann (Bell) Avery, grandson Michael Shane Hunter, sister
Nina Capps, twin sister Alline Dupree, and brother Jerry Avery.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
